A few days ago, I found out at the website of Matrox that they do have a new kind of VideoCapture card, the "RT-2500". At first glance, it seems to be a good card : Video in/out for DV-Cam, Composite and S-VHS and Stereo-Audio. It captures, using an onboard MPEG-2 Codec. It supports any standard TV-format : 4:3 and 16:9, NTSC and PAL/SECAM.
Does anyone have experience with this card, or with the former card the "RT-2000"? I think I'm going to buy it, but it costs nearly $ 1,000 so I want to be sure I'm not throwing my money away for "rubbish".![]()
