Hello,
I am attempting to convert a rip to an avi for computer viewing but can not seem to get rid of what looks to be interlacing. I am using the same basic template I have used probably over 100 times! Image (jpg) samples and more information have been placed at the url below and I'd be greatful for any information you may be able to provide.

Conquest10...you are my new best friend!!!!! Fabulous insight!
Wow did I get complacent with that one. It was NTSC interlaced and I had it set to Forced Film!Guess that proves we should not overlook the basics.
THANKS a BUNCH!

Sometimes you can't do Force Film though. In that case you must do a manual IVTC. With TMPGEnc.
