Hi All.
Will this has happen to me a few times after encoding an avi file to svcd, I've encoded them with TMpgenc 2.52.34.129 in CQ mode with a Max bit rate of 1.5 mbits to 1.9 mbits with a minimum bitrate of 300. Quality setting of 50.
My last movie was 2 hours and 30 minutes long and when I encoded it I was figure it would be 2 or 3 80 minute cd's. But in total the movie can out at around 800 megabytes. the quality of the movie was fairly good but for one huge problem.
The movie would start mid-way from the beginning. But when I cut the mpeg file and burnt it onto 2 cd's the movie played perfect. Which was a waste because each file was 400+ megs in size.
Is there a limit on how long an SVCD movie can be? Also When I add chapters and try to skip to the next it mess's up the movie.
My DVD player is an Apex 1500 and I'm using VCDEasy to set up and burn my Mpeg files to SVCD. I'm using the newest version of VCDEasy 1.1.3.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me with this question.
