i'm running windows xp and capturing home video from my vcr using dazzle's dvbridge. the quality of the resulting files are perfect. i'm using tmpgeng plus for encoding and experimenting with different settings. i've made many, many clips and burned them on a dvd-rw disc several times. all my sample clips are slightly darker and less vivid than the original tapes. what am i doing wrong?any clues are greatly appreciated

If you are using TMPGenc Plus.....check 'Simple color correction' and double click it to access the manual adjustments. Then you can set the brightness, contrast,color,etc...to how you would like.
