Hi everyone. I'm currently currently considering upgrading my 3D display card,(normal standard AGP based).
However, I'm concerned that with the the GeForce 4 Ti range, virtually all the choices available to me locally all feature VIVO capabilities. The problem is that I already have a capture card with the Pinaccle PCTV pro. If I upgraded to a GF4 Ti based card, I'm worried that the 2 capture differing capture cards will confilct & obviously not work.
Does anyone out there at present own a system with both a GF4 VIVO display card & a PCTV card installed? Is there any way to disable the capture capabilities of the GF4 card? Can they coexist okay?
Whats the experiences of other users out there?
Note my budget can only allow for eg: Leadtek GF4 Ti4200, or alternatively an ATI Radeon 9000, I'm not interested in a GF4 MX card because of the lack of DirectX 8.1 compatibility.![]()

If you can have a VIVO GF4 card & a dedicated capture card like the PCTV pro both installed, can you also swap between the multiple capture cards in programs like Virtual Dub,& AVI_IO.
Would the drivers between the different capture devices possible conflict?
