ok..completly new..havent even made a movie yet..been reading for days on this site (great site ) now let me see if i got all this straight..1(i bought a new computer with a all in one dvd burner thinking all i had to do was download and burn and id have a movie. not that easy right 2(all the programs on this sony computer,vio movies and all that ..worthless for downloading and burning..right? 3(i need download..converter like tmpeg...virtualdub..if i ever want to do this right? and all the nero is good for is burning..not converting like i thought...i think i got ti....ummm right???
sorry all..but like i said..i am new..

gosh, i didn't understand your english very well (maybe i'm sleepy), but to me what you said seems right. the last post you made, i didn't understand anything, except that you have avi files.

why do you have to download? you got a dvd drive. just rip the disc. much easier and you get better quality than any avi you'll find on the net.

i havent gotten that far yet..the avi i have are already in the puter and im trying to get them out to clear up some space..working on the ripping now.
just gotta figure that all out.
