  1. I have a cd that I burnt with music videos on it that I downloaded on Kazaa. I just got a DVD player for Christmas and I dont' really know a lot about it. it's a Cyber Home DVD player. The videos are Windows Media Player MPEG files. The picture and sounds is all fine, except for they all go at a very slow speed. And there is a pause every few seconds. There is ONE video however that works. And the file size is a lot smaller than the others. The one that worked was about 8 MB and the rest were around 20 MB. um... I think that's all I can tell you right now. Ask me questions if you need to know more to help me out. PLEASE HELP!

Those file sizes don't seem to be VCD sizes since VCD is about 10meg a min....maybe your player doesnt like non-vcd mpeg files. just cause its a .mpg doesnt mean its a VCD mind you. and also did you burn it as a vcd disc or a iso disc with mpeg files on it?

  3. well I wasnt planning on putting it into my dvd player when I burnt it. But I just went to Data CD and dragged the files and hit Create CD. Is there a way I can change the files to VCD? Or do you have do download those specifically?

  4. your dvd player cant play data cds.....unless the files are in divx i think....but anyway, to make a vcd and play it on your dvd player, get tmpgenc at http://www.tmpgenc.net/ . open it and if the project wizard pops up, just cancel it. drag your videos into tmpgenc and go to load at the bottom corner. load NTSC if you're in north america (PAL if in europe) and choose your output. then click start and the files should be ready to burn to vcd. then you need a burner that can burn vcds. if you have one then go to "author" under "how to" on the left menu bar and see how to burn. if you dont have one go to tools under "other" and try to find a free one. if you want to get into more detail, go to "newbie" and read stuff. hope that helps. you cant burn dvds without a dvd burner. if you have one then this was a whole bunch of wasted time.
