Iīm using a LG DRD 8160B in my PIII, 700mhrz, with XP and got some problems to read my regular DVD discs. The system simply doesnīt recognize the disc in the drive, the regular CDs and CD-R work perfectly... Iīve tried to upgrade the firmware, change the player software and nothing happens. Whatīs funny is that sometimes the drive recognize the disc, just sometimes, and different DVDs, I thought it was a problem with the discs and wasnīt...
Any idea?
TIA

I've had that problem with a Sony DVD-ROM and Columbia Tristar DVDs. Never solved the problem
