  1. I have ripped a dvd (Merlin if anyone is interested) and now have 6,4 GB on my hdd that doesn't seem to do anything.
I have checked on your site but nothing seeme to point me in the direction of how to make a .avi file out of this.
This being my first ever dvd to rip I don't know how to proceed.
I have downloaded some software recommended by this site but that just doesn't work (dvd2avi and flask).
    I don't know what I'm doing wrong..
Is it a software problem or am I just an idiot who doesn't know how to operate it?
Can anyone give me some pointers because I could really use any kind of frame of reference.

  2. I got flask mpeg to work but it keeps crashing (the prog not my comp)
I'm kinda guessing this must be the problem...where can I get a working copy if I may be so bold as to ask?

    Please try VIDOMI..
Its an easier conversion for a newbie, esp if FLASK doesn't do it for you (on yer machine)!
