  1. I am trying like hell to convert a home DVD to a DIVX. I am nearly ready to give up, as I have tried damn near everything. I have followed every guide, tutorial and lesson and ended up with everything but what I am looking for.

For some reason, I dont have the Decode to WAV option in my DVD2AVI program. According to this tutorial: http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/dvd2divx_weezul.html I should. I have tried every audio feature in this program and ended up with a video file without audio.

What the hell am I doing wrong? Why is there no decent way to convert AC3 to WAV?

Of course, the link to the DVD2AVI site is DEAD, so I am not sure what to do. Please. I will pay someone for the right kind of help.
