IM TRYING TO MAKE UP MY OWN DVD, IVE RECORDED SOME VIDEO FOOTAGE (24MINUTES) TO MY HARD DRIVE AND IT WAS SAVED AS AN AVI, I USED THE PROGRAMME REQUIRED TO CHANGE IT TO AN MPEG 2 OR SOMETHING AND NOW ITS A VOB, IVE TRIED USING NERO BUT IT SAYS OTHER FORMATS OF FILES HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO, I THINK THESE ARE PFO UFO OR SOMETHING. IM JUST LOST ALTOGHETHER......... SOME ONE HELP ME? WHAT DO I DO WITH THE VOB FILE? ARE THERE ANY SIMPLE DVD MENU CREATING PROGRAMMES WHICH BURN TOO HELP HELP HELP![]()

Convert to mpeg2 and then author and burn it with for example ulead moviefactory, very easy to use. www.vcdhelp.com/author#dvd

Well i converted the avi to MPEG 2 i think and the file was something.m2v with the audio saved as a wav file, so i put them both togther as a VOB? what should i do is m2v mpeg 2? the m2v plays on the powerdvd?

well if you have a m2v and a wave file. have you tried ifoedit to make you vob files. well i would change the wave file to mpeg if i was you so it wouldb't take as mucj spave up. but if you use ifoedit to author. they will burn fine in nero..........
