Hi. I'm new here (and new to making my own svcds) so please bear with me. I've tried everything and looked everywhere, but I can't figure this out. I followed the instructions to add your own permanent subs to a svcd using virtualdub and substation alpha and tmpgenc. It works fine, it's just that the movie I'm encoding just happens to be in widescreen format and instead of having the movie appear outside of the frame in the bottom black area, it's actually inside the frame where I don't want it. Is there anything I can do like change the ratio or something? I really don't know how to do that so if someone can help, I'd appreciate it. Like I said before also, I tried looking this up myself, but I had no luck. Coming to this forum is my last ditch effort so if you can, I'd be greatful for the help.
Thanks, Robert
