I'm planning out and configuring my dream network. This network includes four systems, one of them would be a fileserver and another would be what I like to call my "Ultramedia" system. I will be using the Shuttle SN41G2, connected to a TV, to play movies, MP3s, etc. (which are stored on the fileserver) via the network. I am also hoping to have a TV card in the system to capture TV shows. Would it be possible for me to capture TV to the fileserver from the "Ultramedia"? Is a 100Mbps network capable of sustaining a stream without dropped frames, audio desynch, etc.? The Ultramedia system will probably have 512MB PC3200 DDR (motherboard supports Dual Channel...nforce2) and an Athlon XP 2200+. The file server will probably have 8MB ATA133 drives setup on a RAID.
