I am having an issue using DVD2DVDR. When the program automates the entire process the DVD's play in my standalone player without a problem. When I have to use ifoedit manually to author a DVD then the DVD will not play in my standalone player but will play on my PC using PowerDVD. Am I missing a step?? I am loading the m2v file, audio file, sub file, and celltimes file. Anyone have any suggestions??
Thanks

Can you elaborate on that please?? I dont see this anywhere in ifoedit.
Thanks -
You cannot use IFOEDIT to author NTSC Films. You must use another authoring tool. There is a bug in ifoedit that NTSC films will not author correctly. The best you can do is,
1. Run DVD2DVDR disable the authoring flag in settings.
2. You must check in the encoder tab force film and the Drop Frame flag.
3. You will then have to use DVDmaestro to author.
4. You will have to rip the chapters and subs using seperate tools. -
If this is the case then why are certain DVD's that dont require a re-encode work and ones that I use DVD2DVDR to reencode are playing in my software player but not standalone player.
thanks
