I went to burn an SVCD today, and when I started up VCD Easy, I found that there was a new version available. So, dumb me, I went and upgraded. Then the fun began.
First, I got an access violation when starting VCD Easy. I did a little reading, and then decided to try checking my ASPI drivers. I downloaded the latest ASPI drivers from Adaptec and installed them. Now I can start VCD easy without the crash, but it can't find my CDRom burner.
Other notes, since the last time I used VCDEasy, I have upograded my system by adding a new, large hard disk, which came with it's own controller. So I have two hard disks on the new controller and the DVDRom and the CDRW on the motherboard controller. Could this be the cause of the problem? Do I have to do something special to make CDRDao aware of the second controller?
