  1. was wondering if its possible to have a bunch of pics (JPEG) and convert then to an AVI so it makes the pics look like a video then copy to cd

    Yes. I've done it three of four times myself using Pinnacle SDV. I also added music to create a slide-show with music. I have then converted the AVI to MPEG-2 and played on my T.V. through my Toshiba DVD player. There's probably a half-of-dozen other ways to do the same thing.

  3. There used to be some programs for stringing together a series of BMP files into an AVI. You named them photo1, photo2....... then told the program where to look and what the root name was. I don't remember any particular names though. But a websearch or try TuCows ought to turn something up. There are moving GIFs for a small number of frames if you want to go that route too.

  6. I've never seen anything for jpeg except for things like DVD picture show programs. I presume that isn't what you want (it would be mpeg anyway). Look for BMP to avi then you'll have to use something like paintshop and batch convert to do JPEG to BMP.

  7. Use Slide Show Movie Maker. In the Author sectionof this site, you have a guide for doing that.
