new to this and need help

hi people, i have a disc with 3 files, tv progs, they seem to be music files, they play trough my pc, as pictures, but not though stand alone dvd player, can any of you pls tell me how to convert

followed the link, get so far come to start and get error message saying file can not be created, where am i going wrong

Sure we can help. Completely describe the disc you have - what directories are on the disc and what the filenames of the TV programs are.

It sounds a bit like you have a VCD or SVCD but without details it makes it hard to guess.

it's a data-safe media disc, the episodes of the osbournes on it, as i use win amp as default player the files are in winamp, if i play though winamp get the talking, but though win media player, get perfect pic and sound. have tryed to encode though tmpeg, but get file can not be created, nero does not reconise the file. no directions with the disc and the lad it came from did no, thought is was a vcd.
