I just installed a All In Wonder 7500 card, and when I capture into Virtual Dub or Ulead Video Studio I get no sound. I get no sound when I'm capturing and no sound when I play the AVI file back. My computer has sound and I know the hookup is right, I'm using the purple ATI input adapter and it's pretty straightfoward. I'm thinking its a driver problem or control panel setting or something like that. Please help!

The first thing to check would be to verify that the "line-in" on the software mixer is not muted or at a very low value.
You mention the purple input adapter. You should also have a 4-wire black output adapter. Make sure the audio out from the black output adapter of the ATI card is plugged into the "line-in" on your sound card. It should not be plugged in to the "michrophone-in". -
Also make sure windows is set up to record from the line-in. It took me a while to figure this out for my winTV go card. Double-click the speaker in the system tray then select options-properties and click the recording button and ok. Then make sure the checkbox under line-in is selected.
