    I have bought a pioneer A104 with firmware 1.32.
    I would like to burn Ritek DVD-R x 2. I have read that it is possible with firmware 1.31.

    Do i have to use the downgrade utility ?
    Or do i have to install the 1.31 firmware ?

    Is there any risk to change the firmware ?

    Check out this site, they have links to hacked firmware, you can write 2X to any media.
