    ok so I read through the faqs and decided to use dvdx to rip my dvds, but I was just wondering when i go to configure the codec what should I put in assuming I use divx 5?

    also how would I know what birate to put in since theres a feature that says " do no let file size past .... "

    The best advice I can give you is try gordian knot. It is by far the best tool to do divx rips.

    theres to many functions and is quite confusing, cant understand any of it

    Plus dvdx requires ur to put in less configuration.

    Someone has got to know how
