I have seen postings saying that, although the Toshiba SD-2800 won't play SVCD, it will play XVCD up to a bitrate of 5000. Using instructions on VCDHELP and elsewhwhere, I have tried to make a playable VCD, but with no success. The header trick doesn't seem to work for me. One problem in particular at the moment is that VCDEasy is telling me that 640x480 (or 320x240) is not a valid resolution. I have previously made a playable VCD from the Aero-Dancing sample, but I can't even get that to work now. Maybe this is something to do with the settings that I am using in TMPGenc (I am loading the unlock template and specifying the output as non-standard VCD).
Perhaps someone, who posted one of the reciew comments can describe how they made a playable XVCD for the Toshiba 2800?
Any help much appreciated.
