    how can i repair corrupt rar files with virtualdub
    if anyone can help me with a guide or link please do?

    Shirley you cant be serious.. ;-P since when does VirtualDub fix RAR archives!?..

    Try using WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/), highlight the broken archive and choose Repair Archive from the Commands menu. And if you're lucky (ie. if the person who created the archive used the Recovery Record option), than you'll get the entire archive back, fixed!
