I have Memento in DivX format and when I try to encode this to MPEG-2 SVCD the Audio turn out way ahead of the image. I hav ebeen sitting with this the whole afternoon and it just hit me... the DivX has 48 mhz Audio and when TMPGenc converts this to MPEG-2 I guess the audio must be converted to 44,1 mzh. is that maybe why the Audio is running ahead of the images?

What can I do to fix this? Please help? I guess I have to separate the Audio and do something with it, and then put it back into the movie, right?

    Thanx/

Wow... AGAIN i did'nt get answered on a post.. I hardly ever get answers... But Since I this time fixed it myself I'm okay...

    Wanted to share my solution.

It did'nt seem to be different abotu the mhz rate. I save the Audio as wave 1,5 Gb and I added 900msec to it with Sound forge (there are probably faster ways to do this) and then used that wave file as Audio sourse in TMPGenc... looks good.

I could'nt interleave in Virtual Dub, it craches when I tried to add 500msec with that function.

Finally a message with a CLEAR solution. I've posted several meassages of this same problem, but never get any (satifying) comment. I'll try this soltion.

Question: Did you tried TMPGenc with the option "source range". You can give the audio a delay while converting the movie in mpeg2. It's now running on my PC right now. So when this method will work i'll let you know.

  4. @ejunkie: did the source range function work for you? i am itching to leave work early to try this, cause ive been fkn with this movie for a week! i have cooledit, but dont know how to use it, as i just got it yesterday got tired of waiting for the love wav to load about 5 minutes into it and quit for the day. 900ms sounds about like the right delay, as i was guessing nearly a second just by watching it. i have never had a problem like this movie is giving me...
