Could someone advise me how to get the final vidoe in a string of small films to play after Burning. Generally everything works well but after approx. 40min the DVD simply freezes up. This is obvioiusly an encoding/burning failure because the same thing happens in all the standalone and Computor DVD drives.

Am I doing something wrong ?? or have I gat a faulty DVD Burner ? I have tried several DVD R brands from unbranded to Pioneer but they all suffer the same problem.

  3. Have had a similar problem with DVD Workshop.

I found it was always the same video clip that did not play on my standalone player. All seemed OK when playing on the PC.

I tried replacing the clip that refused to play with one of the previous clips in the project (i.e. repeated a video clip) and burnt to a DVD-RW for testing. All was OK.

In the end I assumed the MPEG video clip was at fault so reconverted from the original AVI and removed the first few frames.

The whole DVD now plays OK.
