I want to reencode my old burned svcd disks to a slightly lower bitrate, but don't know how.

These disks aren't playable anymore on my new jvc xvs300bk, ( used to play fine on my daewoo8000f ) because they stutter and glitch occasionally .

These disks are at max ( 2756 ) and I want them aroud 2400 2450 kbps.

    TIA .......

Use VcdEasy to rip the svcd files onto your hard disk.
Then re-encode using your favourite method.

I allready did that but what is the next step, I normaly use DVD2SVCD for all ripping/conversion stuff, and it just goes by pressing a single button.

You're safest bet would be to use TMPGEnc as it's pretty straightforward.
You'll find plenty of guides here that will explain how to use it.
