DV Captured clip and burned on DVD freezes after 30 minutes

I successfully captured and burned a DV tape to DVD+RW, by using Power Director Pro 2.5. Very good quality, but when palying the DVD +RW on my DVD player (Pioneer DV525), 30 minutes in to the movie the DVD freezes.... Any suggestions? Keep in mind this was my first capture and burn on DVD, that is why I was using a DVD+RW.

Hi! Wish I had a solution. I had a very similar problem. Captured DV as an avi, coverted and authored with Sonic my DVD, burned UDF/ISO in Nero, then it freezes about 10 min into the video, but the sound keeps going. Hope someone can help

ps- I was burning -R using Optodisk media.

Does your DVD title set play with a software player?

Sounds to me that you have burned your work onto crap DVD media.

I have had this problem with +RW disks (especially after erasing and writing a second time on the disks). However, I haven't had this problems with +R disks. I have used Dazzle DVD complete to burn +R disks and I haven't had any problems. I have had some difficulties burning +R disks with Nero but apparently this has been fixed in the latest versions.
