  1. I am using TMPGEnc Beta12i to convert my .avi's.

It converts with no error but I don't see any video, just audio. The .AVI looks fine.

    Any Ideas..

NOTE: It is a letter box movie that I am converting. Would the black at the top/bottom be the problem.

Also I do see a could of fine lines at the bottom of the screen. It looks like the movie or something is there, but below the actual screen.

  3. adding these files for some reason gives you picture using tempgenc. before you start encoding, do you use preview?
I had a problem in that when a previewed using tempgenc I had a no picture and added these files bam!! the picture showed up. the only thing you need to do is download both files and run. then go back and use tempgenc and preview (what you get in preview is what the outcome will be).
I really don't use tempgenc, i like using panasonic encoder. after you get this to work you need to run your file through vitadub first to covert the audio file to wav. (this is done to keep the audio insyc with the movie) use this file as your audio input using whatever encoder you use.

  4. use the same setting as the describe in how to convert (they work fine). try downloading a demo of panasonic converter. it's only a demo that encodes for 30 secs but then you can see if that works. If it does then i would hunt around the web searching for either version 2.3 or 2.5 exe. and find s/n and password for both. thier out thier i just don't remember where.

  5. Thanks for the replies..

I was using the lastest version of TMPGENc. I went and
download a early version and it fixed the problem. May be
    a bug in the software..

Any how thanks for the help
