under "quantize matrix" in tmpgenc i have encoded a file with this option checked and unchecked. i didn't notice the difference, however it may have just been that file.
my question is should the "output yuv data as basic ycbcr not ccir601" option be checked or unchecked for dvd ntsc television?
i've read several guides online and some say to check the box and some say not to, i believe tmpgenc's guide says this is usually disabled.
can someone please clarify this for me or help explain what ccir601 is?
thank-you
