Could someone please tell me what happens when you import your .MPV and .AC3 assets into Maestro and don't change the default aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9? I have reencoded a few movies and didn't even see the aspect ratio until I read a guide which said I should change it to 16:9 PS/LB. I think that 4:3 is full screen and the movies that I reencoded were 16:9 like most NTSC movies. But when I played them on my DVD-ROM and Standalone after burning, I got the 16:9 letterbox screen just like the original. It wasn't 4:3. My question is basically, what happens if you "don't" change the aspect ratio like I didn't? What can go wrong or happen? I am now doing what the guide says, but I just can't figure out what I screwed up, if anything. Thanks in advance for any help on this.
