I have a downloaded mpg file which plays fine but will need to be re-encoded in order to burn to VCD or SVCD. How can I check to find current specs on it's encoding in order to make best use of the file. Size (ie.352x240 or?) data bit rate of video and audio? thanks wasn't sure which list to ask this on...thanks Schwinn

Download and use the "mpeg properties" software which you can download here: http://www.medialab.se/mpgp_100.zip
