I need to know sometimes what format my files are realy in, like is it PAL/NTSC, what's the bitrate, codex used for video and audio, the ratios, etc.
Is there a good GUI, not the command line application that would give me the info I need. Please refer me to that application.
THnk you.

For MPEG files you can get a lot of information with "bitrate viewer". For AVI files you can open the file in VirtualDub and check the "file information" from the File menu. If the file is 25fps it's PAL, if it's 29.97 it's NTSC, if it's 23.97 it's NTSCFilm.
Both bitrate viewer and virtualdub are listed in the tools section.
