Hello all, I am new to video capture.. I have a tivo that has about 30 episodes of "good eats" that I would like to convert to VCD..
I have figured out how to use "Virtual DUB" to save the files, and I know how to make basic vcd's using NEro..
I am wondering what the different codecs have to offer, I have used the one that appears in your guides, and it looks nice tho it has a huge watermark all over the picture.. I have a bunch of Codecs on my computer and am wondering if one of the ones I do have might work properly.
The other thing, Using nero I have figured out how to create basic menu's, but was wondering how difficult it would be to integrate the 10-15 second "good eats" music and logo to put on when you start the vcd. basically I would like to have the video play, then the menu appear over the top with the episode titles.. Anyone have any luck with this?
The show is 20 minutes and takes up about 4.5GB in its AVI format, is there a way to compress these down to a more managable size for storage (200mb or so?) just so I can play them on my computer?
