    Hi Guys

    Having lots of trouble with DVD authoring programs picking up the SVCD's i'm converting to DVD. It keeps coming up saying they are not DVD mpegs. BUt i Follow all the guides is it something i am missing? Starting to get frustrating as trying to get em goin. Ne help appreciated

  2. SVCD video is not DVD compliant and some tricks are required to persuade DVD authoring programmes to accept it. Even then it may not play correctly on all standalone players. Have you tried following this guide here:

    Yeah mate , have tried that site and still no luck at all .... keeps coming up with those errors Just cant get it to go ... no matter how much i retry those directions on that site

  4. Try this site http://www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm make sure you have dvd2avi and tmpgenc and your good to go.. It takes some time but If you really want to author it you have to go through the motions.. By the way I use this way and It works!
