  1. Can anyone guide me on how to convert and MPEG onto VCR tape. Is there anyway you can perhaps play the file through some applcation then run the lead into VCR jacks and record onto tape via the AV chanel or sinilar? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  2. The best way is to use a mpeg playback card with video output. It will play the mpeg file independent of the CPU power of your PC, and the quality will be good. Hollywood Plus is one card (DVD playback card, fits in one PCI slot). You can get this card for less than $50 if you shop around. There are also a few other (DVD) playback cards available.

Another option is to get a video card with video output or a stand alone VGA to video converter. The quality of these devices are normally poor, and often gives black bars on the sides or on the top and bottom.
