  1. Hello,

I have a Panasonic RV31 DVD player, which plays VCDs perfectly well. But for quality issues, I obviously want to play SVCDs.

Interesting situation which occurs with the SVCDs I burn... playing in normal play mode, the video/audio is choppy. If I push the forward search button, the audio is fine, and the video plays (albeit a tad in slow motion).

Using TMPgenc to create the mpg file, on my PC, the file plays fine both audio and video. Just on the DVD..

I know my DVD player is not listed on the supported player list, but I've come to believe that since it does play a bit better just pushing the forward search button, that there are some settings that can be tweaked under TMPGenc that would allow everything to play appropriately.

Has anyone with a Panasonic RV31 had luck with SVCDs?

    Thanks in advance,

    Pat
