I'm trying to get my DV tape converted to SVCD. After saving the edited AVI file I converted it to 480X480 with TMPGEnc 12a. There are so many options my head is spinning. Anyone doing this have a good template for SVCD and TMPGEnc? Should I deinterlace? My DV source is a Sony PC 110 which I believe is interlaced. What codec should my editing program use for good quality. I gotten good results on a DVD Rip at 23.?? frames/sec. Would it help to convert to 23.?? fps with inverse telecine? If it sounds like I'm a little confused I am. Thanks
