I've read almost every DVD 2 DVDR tutorial known to man. I've tried almost everything......but when i have to encode a new mpeg2 file from my vobs, the file always has skips...like it gets block noise at random places...and all these weird colors come up for a second. I've tried, Rempeg, tmpg, and cinemacraft and each program messes it up some where along the lines. It;s not an error in my vobs because when i play them with Powerdvd they play fine, but after i make the new m2v file, it's messed up. I've been trying to get this to work for 4 weeks now with no luck. PLEASE SOMEONE help!
I've now targeted the problem, it's with dvd2avi, for one reason or another no matter what settings i choose, or what version..i always get messed up d2v files....can someone please help...is there a different program i can use...or maybe my mpeg2 decoding windows files are messed up...please help!

I use mpeg mediator but I only use it on d1v files. If it works for d2v you may want to try it. BUT, if three things havn't worked already, it may be something other than the programs....
