I have a lot of .mpg files, but when I try to make a VCD with them, Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 says that I need .mpeg files in order to create VCD. Please, let me know if I have to convert mpg files to mpeg or there is something else I can do. Thank you very much for yuor help.

I don't know Easy CD creator, but it could be that if the files are not VCD compliant, Easy CD creator simply won't read them. You will then have to convert them to proper VCD files first. Check the files with mpeginfo. (It used to be in the tools section here, but I can't find it now. Anyone knows anything about thaT?)

If they are not VCD compliant you can use Nero to create XVCD's by simply choosing to ignore the fact that the files are non-compliant. This format is less compatible than VCD, but may still work in your player. Check the player compatability list to see if your player will play xvcd.
