Pretty sweet deal, but dam I hate those mail in rebates. They can't just give you the direct savings you have to jump through hoops like same dam rat in an experiment Got P2100 RAM so couldn't use the RAM but even 75GB HD 7200rpm for $49.00 is nice deal. Even though I prefer Maxtor over WD. Maybe a good xmas present though...

Yeah, and I really wonder about this drive. I've never heard of a 75mb drive from WD. Even their web site does not list one 75mb drive. But, there is the photo of the box on BestBuy's ad.

w/o a rebate, but i can only use a 120gig with the
8mb buffer,seeing how we need more compacity

hell yeah. went this morning and they were all sold out. all they had was a 60 gig drive for 99.99 and a 120 for 149.99. ram was also 256 mb for 99.99.
