  1. Hey Guys,

I got a few questions about frame dropping. It seems that the more tweaking I do to my set up the more I get! Anyone know a good way to decrease the amount of frames dropped ina capture?

Also what is a terrible amount.. I understand that a few frames is unnoticable, but when does it become noticable??..

My current captures are cartoons about 22 minutes long each around 40,000 frames.. I am losing between 9 - 30 frames per capture.. I haven't had time to sit through these and won't as I have a limited time to do these captures.. So is 30 frames lost horrible? Or am I worried about nothing??

Anyone that can give me advise please help!!1

    Thanks

  2. if you lost 30 frames and you captured at 30fs,
then you lost about 1 second of the video.
out of 22 minuts - i dont think its bad.
    its just not that good.

but its better not to lose frames if you can.
try to lower the resolution, or play with the bitrate.
i dont know what hardware you use so its hard to give you a solution.

the main thing is - are you happy with the qulity you end up with.
HELL AINT A BAD PLACE TO BE
