    i have not seen this topic in any of the other posts...
    when using the cut tool in tmpg 12i, the resulting video file is shorter, by about 18 seconds, than what was intended. WTF is happening here?
    i've got 512mb ram and the temp file is set to a drive that has plenty of space. any help out there?

    It is a common fault of the cutting tool of TMPGenc to short change in length as well as misssing audio at the end of the new cut file. Why don't you try DVTool(on your left)- superior, except that it cuts in size(MB) and not in seconds.
