  1. i made a home dvd using dvdSpro and the output was a video TS FOLDER and an empty audio TS folder,is the audio TS folder necessary? (cauz it is empty) or can i just trash it? and one more thing the video TS folder is small (around 200 meg) it's a short movie,is it possible to burn on a cd plate? if yes will this cd play on a normal home dvd player just like a dvd? sorry if it's a dumb question. thks.

    Hi,
most recorder works better if the auio-folder is on the dvd/cd. so better burn it also.

you can burn it on a usually cdr. that's what we call a mini-dvd. it's very exotic format and will not be played successfully on most dvd-players.

  3. It depends on what players you need the disc to play on. As mentioned some set top players will reject the disc without the audio_ts folder but if you are only going to play it on your player then you burn it with or without and test it. You can't burn a disc with DVDSP without it but if you use Toast you can. It's not gonna change your file size I can't see the point in trashing it really.

DVD-R has so many compatibility issues as it is I wouldn't burn it on a cd but if it's for your own player then test it and see. If it plays cool.

    Later.
