Ok my question is when I encode it 2 mpeg, it was working fine. I watched it. Now when I pu it in nero, it said "The file 'c:\Windows\desktop\movies\Planet of the Apes 2001 -2 of 2mpg' is invalid, need MPEG-1 which was encoded for video-CD audio 44.1Khz; stereo; 224kBit/s
video: 352*240/29.97Hz or 352*240/23.976Hz or 352*288/25Hz
The following problems were found:
-Strem encoding which is invalid for a [Super} Video-CD
-Invalid audio stream: 48000Hz, 2 channels
You are creating a Video V2.0 (cd-i [player)com[liant CD, but the MPEG is not suitable for such disc. How would you like to proceed?
Turn off standard compliance and continue (thats what I click)
Re-encode the video file. (which froze)
Cancel

If you are using tmpgenc to encode your video, then load one of the templates that is included, vor vcd, or svcd. Don't play around with them too much, doing so will easily get you an mpeg file that in the eyes of nero, is not compliant.
Second, check to make sure that if you are using a vcd template, to choose the corresponding burning structure within nero, If you are using the svcd format, make sure that you check the correct burning method in nero (svcd). The encoding method MUST match the burning method, or nero will quickly disregard it as non-compliant.
Hope this helps -
Nero often moans regarding streaming videos. I usually get around it by using the mpeg tools cut/merge facility in TMPGEnc. Just include the whole file without marking it and name it new in the output file section and using the correct stream type in the pull down menu.
However your audio frequency was not correct for the VCD. (S)VCD's need a 44100hz audio feed. The best way without re-encoding the whole mpeg file again is to de-multiplex it in TMPGEnc (again under MPEG Tools) and take the audio file and re-encode it seperately to the given specs. The using the Mpeg tool multiplex merge them back together again.
