is there a forum somewhere for apex players specifically?

I wanna get an apex 1600 (free with cellphone purchase) but from what i've read, the new ones wont' play vcd.. howver some people are reporting that they are still able to play svcd. I'd like to get some posts from people who've got one recently and what their opinions are. also i'd like to know what to look for .. e.g. the ones at best buy have yellow kodak picture CDs, and no vcd/dvd label.. however is there a chance that they'll still play svcd (which all my movies are in).. if anyone could point me out to a site that explains this (or a forum), or even some comments it would be great.
