After dl a DivX, AVI file too large to place on a single 800 cd I would like to be able to place the content of that file on two (or more if necessary) cds so that I can play back directly from the cds on a DivX,AVI player. Something like disc: 1st cd = Greek Wedding cd 1.avi
2nd cd + Greek Wedding cd2.avi
How please? Thanks

This can easily be done with VirtualDub. If you need instructions, then there is one on www.doom9.org that is very easy to follow. Once you're on that site, click on: The Guides -> DivX Guides -> VirtualDub procedures.
