    Does anyone know the best settings to use when converting a 700mb avi file to svcd? I would also like it to fit on just 2 cds.

    It all depends on if you want to put exactly half the movie on each disc and what the total length of the movie is. The shorter the movie the higher video bitrate you can use.

    use either the bitrate calculator from this site, or fitcd.
