hi.......is there anyway that we can remove the vocal voice from a music CD...in mp3 format to make a karaoke without voice...just music only ? if there is , can you show me the step and what kind of software that i'll need. Thank you very much

Basically... It's yes and no. It all depends on the mp3 or wav song you are trying to devoc. Rock music such as Nickelback or Creed can be pretty much devocalized but others like pop, sentimental and etc, are pretty hard. There're a lot of tools you could use but apparently, the vocals would seem like it's singing from a far away distance.

Drop by www.cooledit.com and search for the forum but don't post anything like remove vocals or relevant. There you can find all possibilities and impossibliities to DeVoc.

To successfully create a karaoke, I'd suggest that you go look for an instrumental version of it.
