  1. I used Smartripper to rip the movie. It rips the audio into one file, but it rips the video into two seperate files. Im using SpruceUp to author. How do I go about joining these two files, or is there some way to import them both into SpruceUp so that they play together. It rips the whole movie into one file except for about the last five minutes of the movie it puts into a seperate file. I ripped it at 5000kbs.

    Thanks Boxingjunkie

You may be running into the 4GB file size barrier, are you running a version of windows 98? If so you can't really join the two files. If not than use Dv Tool to join them, although Smartripper could also be used to join.
Smartripper allows re-ripping from files on your HD,you just need an ifo file in the directory.

Also if your running Windows XP,Smartripper has an option to rip as one large file.

Go into settings in Smartripper and check the box max-size under file splitting. Then go down and change the settable max file size to 9000MB. The 9000MB will assure you can rip dual layer disks like E.T. When you rip with Smartripper it will create an ifo file in the directory your ripping to,there must be an ifo file if you want to re-rip from the HD using Smartripper.
