This DVD player plays DVD, DVD-R, MP3, VCD, and I think even SVCD. I converted a digital video (got it from DAP archive) from 512x384 at 30 fps to VCD using TMPGenc and burned it at 4x on my Yamaha 16x10x40 CD burner using nero. My CD-Rs are Prime Peripphereals brand 16x 80min CD-Rs. When I play it in my DVD player, it starts out fine, but after about five minutes, it the video slows down and then the audio and video are out of sync, then the video speeds up to match the audio. It does this on and off the whole movie. Am I doing anything wrong, or is it my DVD player?

I have a GE DVD changer too (5803P), and it works excellent with anything I've thrown at it so far. Most likely, it's the disc (conversion).
