    is there any program to faster export avi movie to mpeg, I use QT 6 export to toast VCD(mpeg1 format) I need for 50 mins of movie about 14 hours.

    It takes you 14 hours for 50 mins of movie?? That seems like quite a long time, because for me I can do 24 mins in 2-3 hrs. What picture quality are you using? Are you using the computer during the processing time?

    do not use computer.but i set the avi movie size to 850x515 to get biger picture on my TV is that the problem.doing this on B&W G3 300 mhz 320 mb Ram

    Those times may be about right for a non-AltiVec 300 mhz.
